Roy Ernest Lindquist (b. Feb. 18, 1907, Newton, Mass.-d. Nov. 1986, Fla.), U.S. Army officer, graduated from West Point in 1930. One of his early assignments was with the 35th Infantry Regiment in Hawaii. During World War II, he served as commanding officer, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment in Europe from 1942 to 1946.
